Tuesday, March 6: Sean Breen on Mind, Brain & Education - Grace Cathedral Wilsey Conference Room / 6PM. For 27 years, Sean Breen has taught music at Cathedral School for Boys. During the 2010-2011 school year, he earned a Master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) in the field of Mind, Brain, and Education (MBE). The program looks to develop neuroeducators who operate at the nexus of neuroscience, behavioral psychology, and pedagogy. Following completion of his degree, Mr. Breen returned to his teaching position at Cathedral School for Boys.
What are the most important lessons that he learned while at HGSE? How do these lessons influence his current teaching and role at CSB?
