Education Evenings
Education Evenings take the form of invited guest speakers and informal dinner presentations on a variety of topics intended to foster a stronger community and to promote community education. For each event, chil
dcare is provided by the school. Information about upcoming topics for
each school year will be featured in the Cathedral School Bulletin.
Next Education Evening:
Cathedral School for Boys is very honored to have Dr. Melba Pattillo Beals join us on Monday, November 12 from 6-8 PM in Gresham Hall for a presentation on her experience as one of the Little Rock Nine who helped to integrate Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1957.
Dr. Beals' book Warriors Don't Cry was required summer reading for our current 8th grade. CSB parents and students in grades 6-8 are invited to attend this special event.
For planning purposes, you must RSVP with the names of those attending by replying to this email or by contacting Amy Norman at norman@cathedralschool.net. Childcare is available for younger students/siblings, but space is limited, so please note if you require this service in your RSVP.
Copies of Warriors Don't Cry are available in the CSB Development Office for $5 if you would like a copy.
