At CSB, we believe that social responsibility encompasses a variety of facets, all of which are designed to address and grow social and environmental justice. We believe all of our actions affect others, therefore we must behave in a thoughtful and conscientious manner. Living by example is truly at the heart of social responsibility, therefore our focus is on addressing specific actions that can be taken both in and out of the classroom. The CSB community embraces the idea that a more equitable and just world is through the actions of responsible, compassionate, respectful, loving, and just human beings. Our goal is to grow hearts and minds that are full of generosity and kindness. We will continue to provide opportunities that allow students to experience making a difference in the world. We believe in fostering a high level of respect and a genuine empathy by viewing the world through a variety of perspectives. We strive to do this in our own community and expand locally and globally. There are many paths that can lead to this level of care for others and the world. Below are four of them:
