On Wednesday, October 4, SPEAK will welcome Susan Cain, TED Talk superstar and author of Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking and Quiet Power: The Secret Strengths of Introverts.
One third to one half of all people are introverts, according to research.  Acclaimed author, quiet revolutionary, and self-described introvert Susan Cain will help parents and educators understand how to unleash the strengths of introverted kids in a culture that celebrates extroverts.

Mrs. Cain is the author of the bestsellers Quiet Power: The Secret Strengths of Introverts, and Quiet: The Power of Introverts in A World That Can’t Stop Talking. Her writing has appeared in the The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, and many other publications. Her record-smashing TED talk has been viewed over 17 million times. Mrs. Cain has spoken at Google, the U.S. Treasury, Harvard, Yale, West Point, and the US Naval Academy.
