• The Cathy Madison Fund for Student Travel

  Established in 2018, this endowment fund provides support for students interested in participating in the School’s international foreign language and service learning trips so that these programs remain accessible to all students regardless of financial means.
  
  

  Cathy Madison began her relationship with Cathedral School as a parent. Her son Samuel graduated from the School in 2000. In 2005, Cathy took over as Director of Admission from Dottie Sayward Wylie. Cathy served Cathedral School for more than 13 years, acting as the smiling outward face of the School to countless families. This Fund serves as a legacy to her time at Cathedral, as well as her commitment to all families having access to the entire Cathedral School experience.

   

• The Evan Remedios Scholarship Fund

  The Evan Remedios Scholarship Fund was established in 2018 by Evan's parents, Bobbie and Edward Remedios, in his memory. Evan was a member of Cathedral School's Class of 1991 and passed away in 2016 at the young age of 39. This fund will support the School's overall tuition assistance program to ensure that we can continue to make the Cathedral School experience accessible to a wide array of students.

• The Community Scholars Program

  The new Community Scholars Program is a comprehensive merit scholarship for high-achieving, underrepresented, low-income boys entering the fifth or sixth grade. With this program, Cathedral School for Boys strives to live the School Mission by welcoming students into the community for whom an independent school education might not have otherwise been possible. 

• The Forbes Fund

  Conceived by alumni Bill Bennington ’79 and Greg Lee ’78, Cathedral’s first teaching chair honors our founding Headmaster, Rev. Canon David R. Forbes, whose unwavering commitment to Episcopal education and Cathedral School for Boys has persisted for six decades. This Forbes Endowed Teaching Chair will acknowledge excellent teachers currently working at the School by providing financial support and professional development funds.

• The Dottie Sayward Wylie Fund

  From 1990 - 2005, Dottie Sayward Wylie served as the School’s Director of Admission and helped parents and children navigate the daunting and difficult process of finding the right school. She was aware of and sensitive to the financial needs that arise after a family has entered into the school community. Named in her honor, the Dottie Sayward Wylie Fund provides financial assistance to qualifying families for a wide range of needs not covered by tuition, including uniforms, school pictures, athletics equipment, tutoring, and extended day care, to ensure that every boy has access to all the School has to offer.
