Cathedral Cultural Outing: Soft Power at the Curran June 27

While school will be out for summer, as part of our continued partnership with the recently renovated Curran Theatre and in conjunction with the Parents Associations' Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team, we have secured a block of $25 tickets for their next show, Soft Power, which recently premiered in LA and will be coming to SF later this month.
Described as a "play with a musical," Soft Power is "the first collaboration between two of America’s great theatre artists: Tony Award® winners David Henry Hwang (M. Butterfly, Flower Drum Song) and Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home)...which rewinds our recent political history and plays it back through a Chinese lens: a future, beloved East-meets-West musical."

Adults who are interested in taking advantage of our discounted $25 group tickets and joining others in the Cathedral School community for the June 27th 7PM show at the Curran can email Jim Schmidt  by June 11 to reserve tickets. This is not a show for young children, and we've been advised that it would be most appropriate for a 13+ audience. You can may read a recent review of the show in the LA Times HERE and on the Curran website HERE.
