D.E.I. Parent Education Night Featuring Schuyler Bailar at The Brandeis School SF October 3

On Thursday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m., Brandeis will be hosting a parent evening with Schuyler Bailar, the first openly transgender athlete to compete in a NCAA Division I men's sport (on the Harvard men’s swim team).
His story focuses on the universal challenges of trying to "fit-in" in our media-rich world with integrity and authenticity. His talk focuses on his struggles and why he ultimately chose to put many potential accolades at risk to be true to himself. Because he has lived his life from many perspectives—woman, Korean American, mixed race, gay, trans, “Harvard white guy”—his story resonates with the young and old, and people from all walks of life.

Schuyler’s visit is part of Brandeis' initiative around equity and inclusion. They invite families to join them for this informative and engaging evening.  To R.S.V.P. click HERE.
