Raising Boys

Summer Programming

Cathedral School for Boys offers K-8 co-educational summer programs that enrich students through a variety of academically-minded classes and workshops. Our mission is to keep kids inspired academically by exposing them to new, challenging classes in a fun camp environment. Classes are led by present and past Cathedral teachers and staff who are skillful in their design and implementation. Many of the camps are co-ed and most are open to the public.

Stay tuned for what 2020 has in store. Course listings will be made available in early January with sign-ups starting February 1.

  • Kindercamp

Kindercamp is a great way to get your son ready for Kindergarten in August! Through exploration and play, boys become more familiar with their surroundings, teachers, and peers. This, in turn, helps ease the transition at the beginning of the year. During Kindercamp, boys will:
    • Learn the names of their teachers and classmates
    • Explore different parts of the School including our rooftop playground, the library, and even Grace Cathedral
    • Practice classroom routines
    • Eat in the lunchroom and learn about lunchtime routine
