      All-School Red & Gold Sportsmanship Chapel

      Upper School Back-to-School Night

      • Arrival (5:45–6:00pm): After entering from California Street, walk through the double red doors, pick up your schedule for the evening, and enjoy light refreshments. You will then proceed to Gresham Hall for the start of the evening.
      • Introduction (6:00–6:15pm): Lukas Rahlson, Director of Upper School, will open the evening and share a brief overview.
      • Transition to Advisory (6:15–6:25pm): All parents will begin the program in Advisory. Student ushers will be available to guide you to the correct rooms.
      • Classes (6:25–8:15pm): Experience an abbreviated school day, moving through six class periods (depending on your son’s grade). Each class will last 10 minutes with five minutes between classes.
      • Outdoor Ed, Leadership, and Service Trips: Each family will also attend a dedicated session covering upcoming outdoor education, leadership, and service trip opportunities for your son's grade.

    Located in San Francisco, California, Cathedral School for Boys is an independent elementary school for boys in Kindergarten – Grade 8. Our mission is to provide an excellent education through intellectual inquiry and rigor that is centered in the Episcopal tradition and is respectful of and welcoming to people of all religious traditions and beliefs.
