Blessing of the Animals October 7

Each year to celebrate St. Francis Day in early October, we invite all the animal members of the CSB community to come to Chapel for a blessing. This year’s Blessing of the Animals will take place in the Grace Cathedral Plaza on Monday, October 7 at 8:25 a.m. Clergy from Grace Cathedral will join us to assist with the blessings.
Boys are welcome to bring stuffed animals, photos of their pets, or ask their parents to bring their pets from home.
 
Boys should be dropped off normally. Parents can then park and bring the animals to the Plaza. Please use your discretion in separating dogs and cats and do not let animals enter the fountain.
 
School begins promptly following the blessing. Parents and animals are asked to return home.
