At Band Camp, campers will work to reinforce and enhance musical abilities through daily practice and ensemble work while being introduced to diverse styles of music and techniques. Campers will learn to encourage teamwork and creativity through collaborative projects and performances.

Goals:
  • Reinforce and enhance musical abilities through daily practice and ensemble work.
  • Introduce students to diverse styles of music and techniques.
  • Encourage teamwork and creativity through collaborative projects and performances.
Program Highlights:
  • Daily ensemble rehearsals and sectionals led by CSB music staff.
  • Workshops on improvisation, music theory, and performance skills.
  • A final performance for families and the community to showcase student progress in the Sean Breen Performing Arts Space.
Camper Requirements:
  • Rising into grades 5-8
  • At least one year of experience on instruments such as violin, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium, bass, guitar, piano, or drums. Participants must be able to read music.
